Here is yet another piece of information on the Donald Trump Presidency. Make sure you keep yourself updated!:

The capital city of Columbus, Ohio, has created an illegal immigrant defense fund with thousands of dollars going to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Illegal immigrant defense funds are becoming all the rage with leftists these days. While President Trump is trying to fix the immigration system and deport criminal illegal immigrants, Democrats are trying their best to provide them with every means possible to remain in the country.

In California, $20 million in taxpayer funds have been allocated to provide legal services to DACA recipients.

Columbus, likewise, has implemented a defense fund for illegals.

Just days after Trump was inaugurated, Columbus City Councilwoman Elizabeth Brown took to social media to announce the legal fund.

In Columbus, we stand with immigrants! This morning I announced Council’s commitment to a legal defense fund to support…

As if providing legal remedies to those who clearly don’t value laws wasn’t bad enough, Judicial Watch is reporting that over $17,500 of the taxpayer money will be delivered to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

“CAIR will receive $17,500 to provide ‘legal services that help keep families together in the central Ohio immigrant and refugee communities,’” the report indicates. “This includes ‘know your rights’ education sessions in Columbus that will cover encounters with federal immigration agents.”

Judicial Watch describes CAIR as “the U.S. front for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.”

CAIR is one of only three prominent Islamic organizations to be named unindicted co-conspirators in a case alleging criminal conspiracy to support Hamas.

In 2009, the FBI severed its own institutional ties with CAIR when evidence pointed to the group being a front for radical organizations operating within the United States.

In one case, CAIR executive director Nihad Awad was shown to have participated in planning meetings with officials who had been convicted of funneling $12.4 million to Hamas through the now-defunct Holy Land Foundation.

Many voiced their displeasure at Columbus sending money to an organization with suspicious ties …

“Allocating public funds to assist illegal aliens with their legal problems is bad enough,” Judicial Watch writes, “but giving some of the cash to a group like CAIR is like pouring salt on the wound.”

Do you oppose funds going to CAIR? Do you oppose funds going to the defense of illegal immigrants? Share your thoughts below!
