Let me share an other bit of information on Donald Trump’s Presidency. Ensure that you keep yourself in the loop!:
Who knew that when Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) took a knee on the floor of Congress, it was most likely because she hit her head and knocked all the common sense out of it?
We’ve all heard the phrase – ‘Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.’ It’s an accurate statement, indicating that inanimate objects don’t attack people, but those pulling the trigger do.
In other words, guns don’t just pick themselves up and shoot people.
Lee’s not buying it. She’s too smart for you or me, and has figured out that guns themselves are the culprit. They plot, they scheme, and they kill.
In fact, she even goes so far as to say “let’s not blame people” for mass shootings.
In her comments regarding the Texas church shooting, Lee completely exonerates the shooter, saying it’s the “guns, guns, guns” that are the problem.
Ladies and gentleman – your modern day Democrat party, the party that eschews personal responsibility.
Ms. Lee, it has to be physically painful to be this stupid.
Jackson Lee was introducing HR. 4268, which proposes an amendment to “provide for a 7-day waiting period before a semiautomatic firearm, a silencer, armor piercing ammunition, or a large capacity ammunition magazine may be transferred.”
She has playfully titled the bill, the “Gun Safety Not Sorry Act of 2017.”
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee just introduced H.R. 4268 “The Gun Safety Not Sorry Act of 2017” that addresses a 7 day waiting period for purchases or sales of semiautomatic firearms, silencers, armor piercing ammunition, or large capacity ammunition magazines for purchase or transfer.

Even better than saying people aren’t to blame, Jackson Lee specifically singles out those who propose stronger mental health screenings for individuals over stricter gun laws.
“Let’s not keep giving excuses or blaming people with mental health issues,” she said. “I can assure you that is not the problem.”
She said this with the backdrop of the Texas church gunman having escaped a mental health facility in 2012.
Yea, definitely not the problem.
“As the article says in the New York Times,” she concludes, “it’s all about guns – guns, guns, guns.”
Jackson Lee’s comments are the exact opposite of this Letter to the Editor which clearly demonstrates it’s not about the guns.
Do you think guns are the problem, people are the problem, or mental health issues are the problem? Share you thoughts below!
