Below is yet another bit of information on Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign. Ensure that you keep yourself updated!:
The Seattle Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field has a well-earned reputation as the National Football League’s loudest stadium.
But come game time Sunday, when the Seahawks kick off the 2016 season, what happens on the field when “The Star-Spangled Banner” plays is going to be heard around the country.
Because the team could well be using the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to sit in disrespect the flag of the United States – and Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Party might as well be sitting there with them.
The latest twist in the anthem controversy that’s threatening to overshadow the opening weekend of America’s most popular sport came Wednesday evening, when the Seattle Times reported that linebacker Bobby Baldwin had said the team as a whole was considering taking part in an anthem protest.
“I have [considered it],” Baldwin told the Times. “I want to make sure I get all of my ducks in a row before I do so.’’
The anthem hoopla, of course, started when San Francisco 49ers former starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick chose to sit during the national anthem of a preseason game to protest the killing of black men by police officers.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said, according to ABC News.
“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
The Black Lives Matter propaganda would be an outrage if it were true, of course, but not even the liberal American media can keep up the pretense that black men in the United States are at any greater danger of being shot by police than white men – or at least they wouldn’t be if so many of them weren’t involved in violent crimes in the first place.
It’s getting tiresome to repeat it, but the whole Black Lives Matter “movement” – the arson, the rioting, the mayhem – was built on the lie that a black man named Michael Brown was shot to death without cause by a murderous police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, in August, 2014.
Not only was the officer cleared by a grand jury, but even the most racially polarizing Justice Department and attorney general the country’s history found no evidence that the Brown shooting was unjustified.
Before the Brown shooting, there was the Trayvon Martin killing in Sanford, Florida, when a neighborhood watch captain named George Zimmerman shot his attacker to death during a street fight. Again, that wasn’t only the decision rendered by a jury. Eric Holder’s Justice Department thoroughly investigated the shooting and brought no charges against Zimmerman.
And numbers are always tricky when there are political agendas at hand, but numerous journalistic and academic studies keep showing the same thing: There is not an epidemic of white cops shooting unarmed black men.
So the idea that police violence means it’s some kind of “open season” on black men is nonsense on stilts.
But what’s keeping this nonsense alive? As the cops and conspiracy guys say, “cui bono?” Who benefits from ripping the country like this?
It’s just another symptom of American obsession with race and the Democratic Party’s willingness to go to obscene lengths to exploit it in its quest for political power.
It was the Democrats who brought the Brown and Martin’s mothers to speak at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in July. It’s the Democrats who’ve consistently inflated the often-legitimate racial grievances of black Americans into a grotesque parody of the civil rights movement of a generation ago.
And it’s Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party who are desperate to have black voters enraged enough — even if it’s at illusions — to turn out and vote for Clinton in November.
If that means disrespecting the country’s colors, on the anniversary of one of the most tragic days in its history, that’s a game the Democrats are willing to play.
In June 2002, the NFL’s Pat Tillman, an Arizona Cardinals linebacker, gave up a career worth millions to serve his country as an Army Ranger in the aftermath of 9/11.
He died in Afghanistan, tragically, by friendly fire, two years later.
Those Seattle Seahawks, and the Democratic Party, might considering standing – as a team – in his memory.
Please remember, never trust the lamestream media’s pro-Hillary spin and do not permit them to daunt you. Make America Great Again!
